Background
Maharaja Textiles Ltd (Bradford - UK) have become the UK's most enterprising business as a leading distributor and wholesaler of world class fabrics since it was founded by its Chairman Manmohan Singh (Ruby) with an initial investment of £50,000. The Company is a true modern day Rags to Riches story as the firm started trading from a converted family garage in 1993 however the humble roots didn't stop the company expanding into a unique multi-purpose built, 55,000 sq ft warehouse and showroom in Bradford where we have thousands of varieties in ladies unstitched three piece suits catering for the Indian, Pakistan, Bengali and South Asian market. We also stock millions of meters in loose fabrics which can be used for the dress making, crafts and event decoration trades - generally multipurpose fabrics.

Success Story
Due to the rapid success in the fabric trade Maharaja Textiles are proud to have been awarded the coveted 'International Business of the Year' award along with 'The Asian Business of the Year' for five years running and in a recent visit the Duke of York came to pay homage to the success of the company. After trading for more than 20 years Maharaja Textiles Ltd has developed into an internationally recognized firm with the Chairman's son Ravinder (Vince) Singh joining the company and following in the footsteps and ambition that run true to the Maharaja name.

Export
We currently supply fabric ranges to Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Zambia, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Denmark and Norway and we have strong ties with the department of trade and Industry to expand and coordinate with new wholesale distributors and retail customers in markets overseas.

Giving back to the local Community
The Directors of Maharaja Textiles are committed to helping the local community by supporting schools, sports teams and charities in the UK and throughout the world. We are involved in funding the Macmillan Cancer Appeal, St James Hospital Leeds Renal Charity, the Zindagi Trust, Tsunami Appeal, East Asia Earthquake Appeal, Breast cancer haven, Pakistan flood appeal and many more charities.
